The Department of Transportation (DOT) Software Engineering Support (SWES) BPA is a flexible, multi-year contract designed to support a broad range of application engineering and O&M requirements across DOT. This vehicle supports the DestinationsDIGITAL initiative to transition the Department away from custom solutions and waterfall development lifecycles to more enterprise solutions, iterative Agile development and maintenance, and DevOps. With multiple service areas, SWES addresses a majority of DOT’s foreseeable system and software development, Agile transformation, cloud enablement, data management and future technology needs over the next five years.
